Paul likes to plan months of "things"- like only speaking Spanish in our house for a month (which lasted for about a half hour because neither of us know Spanish). This month he is doing a month of morning swim workouts which fits in perfectly with my schedule for 5:30am gym classes.
I am taking it way easy and bringing myself back slowly to avoid another injury- but it feels good to work up a sweat! As a secondary piece to my healthy lifestyle I am making more of a focus to drink water (helped along by an assortment of cute waterbottles from Target). I liken myself to a camel and siphon the water from the coffee I drink. Must hydrate!
The only downside is that I almost peed my pants on the way to the barn last night.

"I liken myself to a camel and siphon the water from the coffee I drink. Must hydrate! The only downside is that I almost peed my pants on the way to the barn last night" is perfect!! :) I started trying to drink 2-2.5 liters a day a little over 30 days ago. It gets easier for sure! As for the health benefits, aside from being a great pee-er, I'm not sure I look or feel any different. But either way, it's healthier.... apparently. I have become quite efficient at peeing whenever there is a bathroom (or stall... Whatever.) available regardless if I have to pee or not. Or else you almost pee yourself in the car.ReplyDelete
good luck with the water drinking thing! i have a water bottle at work that has lines with certain times written on them - like, must drink to here by 10:30am, etc - with a built in refill halfway through the day. it usually means i just end up chugging the water at the prescribed times, but whatever it works!ReplyDelete
I <3 cute water bottles! I have an assortment of Nalgene bottles and they've really helped me drink more- they're so big that I don't have to get up every 10 minutes to refill them! Good luck! :)ReplyDelete
I am also working on staying more hydrated! It's hard.ReplyDelete
